 Praised for her “voluptuous timbre” and strong stage presence (Concertclassic), Marine LAFDAL-FRANC quickly began performing with renowned ensembles and conductors such as Leonardo García Alarcón’s Cappella Mediterranea, Vincent Dumestre’s Le Poème Harmonique, Hervé Niquet and Le Concert Spirituel, Christophe Rousset’s Les Talens Lyriques, Les Arts Florissants (William Christie) and more recently, Les Ambassadeurs (Alexis Kossenko).

Marine Lafdal-Franc is considered a Soprano Falcon, with a wide and expressive middle register, and is frequently cast in roles of commanding presence and powerful female figures. She is especially appreciated for the knowledge and elegance of her interpretations in the Baroque and Classical repertoire.

Her recent performances include her acclaimed debuts in "Ariane et Bacchus" by Marin Marais - where she was described as “a radiant embodiment of The God of Love, with a clear and resolute voice” (Olyrix/Baroquiades) ;
the role of La Gloire in Charpentier’s Médée at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées; the Second Witch in Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas at the Menton International Festival with Les Talens Lyriques; and most recently, her portrayal of the goddess Minerva in Destouches’s Télémaque et Calypso at the Château de Versailles and the Ambronay Festival, where “Marine Lafdal-Franc’s commanding interpretation of both Minerva and the Priestess of Love is a delight.” (Diapason).

She's a three-time laureate of the renowned Royaumont Foundation (2017/24/25) and in 2022 she was a finalist of the Renata Tebaldi International Voice Competition.
